Something crazy happened to me in the past few weeks, but I’ve only just now been able to talk about it. I can’t really get my head around it so maybe you lot will be able to shed some light on the situation. Maybe it’s a common thing??? Or maybe it just so happens that the person I went to visit recently is actually crazy…. you decide.
PLEASE NOTE – THE FOLLOWING PHOTO HAS BEEN RECONSTRUCTED FOR THIS POST
I won’t name and shame the person as I’m absolutely terrified of the trolling they might receive, but what’s next?!!? The milk in the cup before the tea bag?? Leaving the volume on your radio on an odd number?? Or milk before the cereal – does anyone do that? I hope not.
Maybe some of you think the above photo is completely acceptable. My personal opinion aside, I would say Cushelle also agrees, because look, the koala is upside down.
https://www.facebook.com/appinshow/I think I’m actually still too shocked at the first photo to continue writing this week. But I absolutely have to mention the Appin Show. It’s the event of the year in the Appin social calendar and this year certainly didn’t disappoint. The committee do a fantastic job of making the show a fantastic day out for all and even the rain didn’t put folk off. I think a whole years worth fell between Friday night and Saturday morning but even then, the show went on! I actually missed most of it as I was selling gin in the trade tent – my most sober show ever!! Apparently it’s good for your health to be license holder ha.
I was so busy keeping all the gin lovers happy that I didn’t even take any photos! FOR SHAME!! I stole the above photo from the Appin Show Facebook, check it out, look at the photos and then plan your trip for next year, because it’s brilliant!!!
The only other thing to mention this week is probably audiobooks! Does anyone else listen to them? I am in the car A LOT and I have a subscription to audible. I LOVE it. I mainly use it for self development books or business titles and autobiographies but also it means I’ve got all the Harry Potter books with me at all times – yes I’m 33 and absolutely obsessed with Harry Potter.
One of my good pals has only just really discovered the wonder of audiobooks and I suggested an Audible subscription. It saves you so much money rather than having to pay full price for each title.
Next question – does anyone have any good audiobook titles to pass on?
If you click on the photo of that woman looking far too happy with her headphones on, you’ll get a free 30 day trial that comes with one free title.
As I said, I love it!
And my favourite book so far apart from the HP series as mentioned, is How to be F*cking Awesome by Dan Meredith. Check it out if you are ever thinking about changing career or making the leap to self employed, or even simply want to up your game in your side hustle.
SUMMARY – Are there any weird things you do, like the toilet paper incident?
Do you have any audiobook suggestions?
